LAKES

LOS VAQUEROS: A few striped bass caught each day. A few trout are being caught from South Cove. Marina opens Monday. Plant of 2,400 pounds of trout goes in Thursday. 925-371-2628.

SAN PABLO RESERVOIR: Catfish and bass continue to bite. One thousand trout -- 900 averaging 1 to 3 pounds and 100 weighing 3 to 8 pounds -- went in Monday, and 2,000 pounds were added by DFG. 510-223-1661.

ANTIOCH: Striped bass bite very good. Broad Slough and Sherman Lake are especially hot. Mudsuckers, shad or sardines are best baits. Sturgeon bite is good at Collinsville and Broad Slough. 925-706-7400.

BENICIA: Almost 20 salmon were caught Monday at State Park, seven at First Street on Tuesday. Striper action is good. Best spots are 12th Street at low tide, 9th Street on outgoing tide or under bridge at any time. 707-745-4921.

FRANK'S TRACT: Stripers are in Frank's Tract and Big Break. Use Rattletraps or Big Hammer swimbaits. Live bait anglers drift bluegill. Black bass take reaction baits or Senkos. 925-625-2441.
