Santa Clara senior forward Erik Hurtado -- the 2012 West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Year -- was named an NSCAA third-team All-American on Friday.

UCLA midfielder Ryan Hollinshead was the only other West Coast player selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America -- he was voted second team.

"It is a tremendous honor for both Erik and the Bronco soccer program," Santa Clara coach Cameron Rast said. "He had a fantastic year."

Hurtado had 15 goals and seven assists for the 11-6-2 Broncos this season. He leaves Santa Clara ranked No. 3 all-time in goals (33) and points (86).
