Following up on their West Coast Conference awards as the Player of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year, Santa Clara's Erik Hurtado and Larry Jackson were both named to the All-Far West Region Team on Monday by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. WCC player of the year Hurtado was named to the region's first team, Jackson to the third team. Hurtado has also been named a finalist for the 2012 Soccer News Net College Boot award, recognizing the men's college player of the year.

Kinney, a senior guard from Champaign, Ill., led the Spartans to two wins last week. He scored 27 points with five rebounds, four steals and two assists in a 73-64 road win at UC Davis. He followed up with a 20-point, six-rebound performance in a 62-57 home win against Sacramento State.
Kinney has scored 20 or more points in six of San Jose State's eight games this season. He has scored 20 or more points in five straight games. He had six 3-point field goals on the week.
For the week Kinney averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game.
