Pat Hurst, an LPGA Tour player and the 1989 NCAA Division I women's championship medalist while at San Jose State, will be inducted into the California Golf Hall of Fame on Tuesday night at The Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach.
Maddy Schaefer and Felicia Lee set pool records in leading No. 2 Stanford (6-1) to a 165-135 Pac-12 women's swimming and diving win over No. 12 UCLA.
Schaefer (St. Francis High) finished the 50-yard freestyle in 22.27 seconds at the Avery Aquatic Center, followed by teammates Julia Ama (23.57) and Alex Whitford (23.62). With a 52.99 in the 100 backstroke, Lee broke her own pool record she set in 2012. Lee and Schaefer also helped Stanford win the 200 medley relay to start the meet.
South Bay native AJ Allmendinger had his third place taken away when Michael Shank Racing's No. 60 Ford Riley was stripped of its finish in last weekend's Rolex 24 at Daytona (Fla.) for a rules violation.

Grand-Am Road Racing also stripped the team of $35,000 in prize money. It discovered mechanical adjustments to the car's engine, which resulted in "performance levels outside the documented maximums."
Michael Atchoo ran a 3:58.7 split over 1,600 to anchor Stanford in the relay. Tyler Stutzman, Spencer Chase and Luke Lefebure completed the relay team.
