The shutout was Luongo's second of the season and 62nd of his career. His 35 shutouts with the Canucks are a franchise record.
The Canucks have won consecutive games on their four-game trip after losing three straight.
Nashville has lost three of its past four.
Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa left the game with what the team called a lower-body injury and did not return.

Blue Jackets: Artem Anisimov was released from a Detroit hospital and returned to Columbus after a scary hit in a game against the Red Wings on Thursday.
Anisimov was taken off the ice on a stretcher after being struck in the head by the Red Wings' Kyle Quincey. Anisimov's head hit the ice as Quincey fell on him.
Oilers: Forward Taylor Hall was suspended two games for kneeing Minnesota's Cal Clutterbuck during a game Thursday. Hall was assessed a major penalty for kneeing and a game misconduct.
