Rays 10, White Sox 4: Matt Moore became the first Tampa Bay pitcher to win five games in April as the Rays snapped a two-game losing streak with a victory over host Chicago. Kelly Johnson and Evan Longoria each matched their career-high with four hits.

Diamondbacks 3, Rockies 2: Cody Ross' sacrifice fly to center field drove in A.J. Pollock with the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning, lifting host Arizona over Colorado.

Mariners 3, Angels 2: Kendrys Morales snapped a 2-all tie with a pinch-hit RBI single in the seventh inning, Felix Hernandez allowed just one earned run and five hits over eight innings, and host Seattle beat Los Angeles.

Tigers 7, Braves 4: Omar Infante and Jhonny Peralta both hit two-run homers, helping host Detroit to a win over Atlanta. Infante's homer off Kris Medlen (1-3) broke a 3-all tie in the fourth. Atlanta's Justin Upton hit his major league-leading 12th homer in the eighth.

Twins 7, Rangers 2: Pedro Hernandez pitched five shutout innings for his first major league win, Josh Willingham homered and host Minnesota beat Texas to end a three-game slide.

Pirates: Left-hander Jonathan Sanchez has been suspended by Major League Baseball for six games and fined for hitting Allen Craig with a pitch in the first inning against the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday. Sanchez said he will appeal.

Mariners: Third-base coach Jeff Datz said he has been diagnosed with cancer and might be away from the team for part of the season. The type of cancer was not disclosed.

Yankees: The banged-up Yankees have put pitcher Ivan Nova on the 15-day disabled list because of inflammation in is right triceps. Catcher Francisco Cervelli had surgery on his broken right hand and went on the 15-day D.L.
