The 49ers have claimed wide receiver Charly Martin off waivers Friday.
Martin had been released by Seattle on Thursday after the Seahawks claimed long snapper Kyle Nelson off waivers from the 49ers.
Martin had four catches for 42 yards for Seattle last season. He previously spent time with Carolina and Jacksonville.
The SaberCats (11-4) take a three-game win streak into Saturday's game against Pittsburgh (3-12) at the Consol Energy Center (CBSSN, 4 p.m.). In Week 12, San Jose beat the Power 68-54 at SAP Center. Pittsburgh has lost six games in a row.

Stanford safeties Ed Reynolds and Jordan Richards are on the Jim Thorpe Award watch list. The award is presented to the nation's best defensive back. San Jose State's Bené Benwikere is also on the list.
Lucy Li, a 10-year-old from Redwood City, was among the eight players who qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur by shooting a 5-over 75 at Sequoyah Country Club in Oakland on Thursday. San Jose's Mariko Tumangan led the field with a 71. Oakland's Grace Na shot a 72, followed by San Jose's Grace Park and Palo Alto's Anna Zhou at 73. No other locals advanced. The U.S. Women's Amateur is Aug. 5-11 in Charleston, S.C.
