Rays 16, Yankees 1: Ryan Hanigan homered twice and had six RBIs, and Wil Myers had two homers as Tampa Bay routed New York. Yankees infielder Dean Anna pitched, giving up two runs in the eighth inning.

Brewers 8, Pirates 7: Ryan Braun hit two homers, including a two-run shot with two outs in the ninth for Milwaukee.

Dodgers 8, Diamondbacks 6: Andre Ethier hit a three-run homer, and Los Angeles rallied from an early four-run deficit.

Marlins 7, Mariners 0: Henderson Alvarez (1-2) won for the first time since his no-hitter to end the 2013 season, pitching a two-hitter for Miami.

Rangers 6, White Sox 3: Colby Lewis (1-1) pitched into the sixth inning for his first win in nearly two years and Prince Fielder homered for Texas.

Blue Jays 5, Indians 0: Mark Buehrle (4-0) pitched shutout ball into the eighth inning for Toronto. Jose Reyes had an RBI single in his first game since opening day, when he strained a hamstring.

Tigers 5, Angels 2: Max Scherzer (1-1) struck out nine in seven innings, and Detroit ended a nine-game slide against Los Angeles. The Angels' Albert Pujols hit his 498th homer.

Red Sox 4, Orioles 2: Brock Holt hit a tiebreaking RBI-triple in the seventh and scored on Jonathan Herrera's suicide squeeze for Boston.

Braves 7, Mets 5: Jordan Walden got the final out with the bases loaded after Atlanta manager Fredi Gonzalez pulled star closer Craig Kimbrel.
