Monday, sept. 24

  • 7:34 p.m. -- Mountain Avenue. A noninjury traffic accident was reported.

    Tuesday, sept. 25

  • 7:55 a.m. -- Oakland & Olive avenues. A noninjury traffic accident was reported.

  • 8:07 a.m. -- Estates Drive. A vehicle break-in was reported.

  • 10:02 a.m. -- La Salle Avenue. A resident reported the theft of a Mitt Romney sign. It was the second sign stolen from the property in two days, the victim told police.

    Wednesday, sept. 26

  • 4:09 p.m. -- Prospect Road. Identity theft was reported.

  • 6:14 p.m. -- Wildwood Avenue. A vehicle break-in was reported. It is believed to have occurred sometime during the night of Sept. 22 or early the next morning, police said.

    Thursday, sept. 27

  • 1:12 p.m. -- Highland Avenue. Oakland police notified Piedmont police that they recovered a stolen vehicle.

  • 3:54 p.m. -- Oakland Avenue. A woman reported that someone keyed her son's vehicle. The vandalism occurred sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. The vehicle's

    windshield was also cracked, the woman told police.

    Friday, sept. 28

  • 7:11 a.m. -- Bonita Avenue. Four bicycles were reported stolen from a garage. The theft, which police have classified as a burglary, occurred sometime Thursday night or Friday morning.

  • 10:15 a.m. -- Linda Avenue. A caller reported that someone rifled through their unlocked vehicle.

  • 10:47 a.m. -- Manor Drive. A residential burglary was reported.

  • 12:07 p.m. -- Highland Avenue. Fraudulent checks were reported.

  • 5:45 p.m. -- Moraga & Mesa avenues. A noninjury traffic accident was reported.

    Saturday, sept. 29

  • 3:54 a.m. -- Wildwood Avenue. Possible gunshots were reported, police said.
