Monday, Oct. 1

  • 5:02 p.m. -- Moraga Avenue. A noninjury traffic accident was reported.

    Tuesday, Oct. 2

  • 2:03 a.m. -- 40th and Howe streets (Oakland). Piedmont police helped Oakland police in the arrest of a robbery suspect.

    Wednesday, Oct. 3

  • 4:01 p.m. -- Sandringham Road. A resident turned over a pellet gun to police.

    Thursday, Oct. 4

  • 1:32 p.m. -- Sharon Avenue. Identity theft was reported, police said.

  • 8:03 p.m. -- Dudley Avenue. A resident requested additional police patrols in the neighborhood after discovering that someone stole her son's backpack and other items from her car and garage. The vehicle and garage may have been unlocked, police said.

    Friday, Oct. 5

  • 3:56 p.m. -- Moraga Avenue. A burglary was reported. It occurred sometime during the previous two hours, the victim told police, and the thief broke a window to get inside the residence.
