BRENTWOOD — Monte Vista High wasn't a presence in the North Coast Section tennis tournament for singles and doubles. 

SAN RAMON — Going into Saturday's East Bay Athletic League swimming finals, one record had stood for 21 years, but Amador Valley's Kayleigh Foley changed that.  
 
Ohlone's Colker one-hits Shasta
REDDING — It appears nothing is going to get in the way of the Ohlone College softball team, not even a four-hour-plus bus ride to face Shasta in a second-round NorCal regional playoff game. 

FREMONT — From the moment he dove into the water for the 200-yard individual medley, Mission San Jose High's Nick Raimondi knew he was going to have a good day at the Mission Valley Athletic League Swimming Championships, which were held at American High on Saturday.  
 
Redwood Christian wins PSAL outright PREP SOFTBALL
SAN LORENZO — The Redwood Christian High softball team seemed destined to finish as the co-Private Schools Athletic League champion with The King's Academy. 

CASTRO VALLEY — Walter Kaneshiro doesn't engage in much conversation while he is out playing golf.  
 
Chabot faces do-or-die time
HAYWARD — The Chabot College baseball team won 26 games during the regular season and had an 18-7 record in the Coast Conference North, which was good enough for second place.
