TRACY — A Web site that helps workers rate their bosses for other job seekers has named a Tracy human resources director one of the nation's 25 worst bosses of 2009.

eBossWatch lists Maria Olvera as the 11th worst boss in the country for allegedly using obscenities and loud and abusive language, for which two former employees sued Olvera and the city. The employees said they were fired after confronting her about it.

Oakland Raiders Head Coach Tom Cable is ranked seventh for allegedly punching an assistant during training camp in Napa. No criminal charges were filed in that case.

Also on the list is a supervisor at California Pizza Kitchen in Palo Alto. eBossWatch says Andy Lee was sued by a former employee who was allegedly harassed by Lee. The victim claims that she was illegally retaliated against and fired.

Cable, Lee and Olvera have interesting company on the list, including a coroner, a former NASA inspector general and a candidate for congress. No. 1 on the list was Paul Martinez, co-owner of a restaurant in Arvada,. Colo., who was sued for sexually harassing a 16-year-old female employee and then firing her after she complained.

A panel of four experts on business and workplace issues chose and ranked the 25 bosses for the site.
