The Raiders have fired longtime scout Jon Kingdon, according to the NFL Network.

Kingdon, 58, has been with the Raiders for 33 years and participated in the 2012 draft which brought in six new players. Although the Raiders did not five specific titles to scouts, Kingdon was known league-wide as being their director of college scouting.

Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie said upon the hiring of coach Dennis Allen that any changes to the scouting staff would not happen until after the draft.

McKenzie was unavailable for comment Monday night.

According to a recent New York Daily News report, Joey Clinkscales, a personnel executive with the New York Jets and a high school and college teammate of McKenzie, was expected to be let go and possibly join the Raiders.
