ALAMEDA -- The Raiders' regular-season home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars has sold out and will be televised locally.

A Raiders official confirmed Thursday that the Raiders sold out the game in advance of the league-mandated deadline of 72 hours before kickoff. The game is slated for Sunday at 1:25 p.m.

The Raiders reduced the seating capacity of the Coliseum for football games by almost 10,000 this offseason. They tarped off the upper deck on the east side of the stadium, as well as a few other upper-deck sections, to get capacity down to 53,286.

All but one home game last season sold enough tickets to avoid a blackout, when the Raiders were required to sell only 85 percent of their tickets to meet the blackout threshold.in place at the time.

The Raiders now have sold out 16 of their past 17 regular-season home games, dating to the start of the 2011 season.
