ALAMEDA -- Fullback Marcel Reece has signed a three-year contract extension, the Raiders announced Friday.

Reece, who made the Pro Bowl last season, was to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Raiders could have as much as $50 million available under the salary cap next season and are likely to make a run at other players in the final year of their contract such as defensive end Lamarr Houston, left tackle Jared Veldheer and running back Darren McFadden.

"It's another step toward my goal -- being a Raider for life," Reece said in a release.
