Man, 47, dies after crash into pole in Oakland
A 47-year-old man drove into a pole near Lake Merritt in Oakland this morning and died in his car.

The coroner today identified George Marceline, 78, as the pedestrian who was struck and killed by someone driving on a walkway in Alameda on Saturday.
