Stanford student among 2010 Rhodes Scholars from U.S.
A Stanford University student from Illinois and a Princeton University student from Saratoga are among 32 Americans who have won Rhodes Scholarships.
Stanford's Daniel D. Shih, of Aurora, Ill., and Henry R. Barmeier, of Saratoga, will receive the full scholarship to study at Oxford University in England, widely considered to be among the most prestigious honors in academia. The winners were announced late Saturday night.
