MORAGA — A smattering of laptop computer thefts in recent weeks at St. Mary's College evolved into a larger problem late last week when 16 college-owned laptops were reported stolen, a campus security official said.
Each day when Oakland A's manager Bob Geren makes out his lineup, his options include a potential Hall of Famer, a five-time All-Star and the man who led the A's in homers and RBIs last season.
Mr. Nice: "If CHP would spend just the half amount of time they spend on the "Click It or Ticket" campaign on drivers that carelessly put other motorists in danger (i.e. speeding, unsafe lane changes, unsafe vehicles, etc..) we might not have that many accidents where people get killed.
