SAN ANTONIO -- Warriors point guard Stephen Curry won't be suiting up Friday night at San Antonio.
Curry's sprained right ankle kept him from participating in a shootaround at AT&T Center on Friday, per coach Mark Jackson. When the media was allowed to enter, Curry was sitting with his iced right leg propped up on a chair.
Curry -- who sprained his ankle at Wednesday's shootaround and missed the home loss to Miami -- did take some set shots before leaving.
Curry will continue to get treatment and see how he feels Saturday before the Warriors game at New Orleans.
What Golden State really needs him directing is the offense. Without him, the Warriors are missing 20.2 points and 6.6 assists. Perhaps
The Warriors have lost 27 straight games in San Antonio. With Curry out, odds are that streak extends to 28. The Spurs are an NBA-best 17-2 at home.
