SANTA CLARA -- Wide receiver Quinton Patton has signed a four-year contract, the 49ers announced before Wednesday's organized team activities.

Patton was a fourth-round selection (128th overall) out of Louisiana Tech. He is the sixth of the team's 11 draft picks to sign. Financial terms of Patton's deal were not immediately available.

Still unsigned are safety Eric Reid (first round), defensive tackle Tank Carradine (second round), tight end Vance McDonald (second round), outside linebacker Corey Lemonier (third round) and running back Marcus Lattimore (third round).

The media will be allowed to watch the 49ers practice for the first time this offseason from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Coach Jim Harbaugh was scheduled to address reporters afterward, along with possibly quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

  • The 49ers' over/under win total has been set at 111/2 by online sportsbook Bovada, a projection tied for the league high with those of the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.

The 49ers went 11-4-1 last regular season before a playoff run that resulted in a Super Bowl defeat. They went 13-3 in 2011 during Harbaugh's first season as coach.

The Seattle Seahawks' over/under win projection is 101/2, while the NFC West's other two teams are expected to finish below .500: the Rams at 7 and the Cardinals at 51/2.

  • The 49ers claimed off waivers long snapper Kyle Nelson, who served as Brian Jennings' offseason understudy and exhibition-game stunt double last year. Nelson was waived by the San Diego Chargers on Tuesday. To make room on the roster, the 49ers released Illinois punter Anthony Santella.
