St. Francis High catcher Tim Susnara is among 36 players who have been selected to play in the Under Armour All-America game Aug. 24 at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
The game, which will be telecast live at 11:30 a.m. PDT on the MLB Network, will be the culmination of a four-day event that includes a home run derby and formal workouts for major league scouts. Over the past five years, 118 of the 138 draft-eligible players from the Under Armour All-America game were selected in major league baseball's amateur draft, including 34 first-round picks.
Bosco has been playing outfield and batting leadoff for the State College Spikes, a Class-A short-season affiliate of the Cardinals. On June 26, Bosco became the first Spikes player to hit for the cycle.
Belmont Redwood Shores opened Friday with an 8-0 victory over Arizona, then defeated Hawaii 5-0 on Sunday. On Monday, Belmont Redwood Shores beat Utah 13-3 in five innings by mercy rule. Its next game is against Southern California at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

San Jose Giants
The host Visalia Rawhide scored three runs in the first inning and three in the sixth on its way to a 7-3 victory over the San Jose Giants in a California League game.
Visalia got home runs from Sean Jamieson and Ryan Stovall in the first inning, a solo shot from Matt Helm in the fourth, then put together three hits to score three runs in the sixth.
The Giants got on the board in the third inning, then added two runs in the sixth to pull within 4-3 but couldn't hold off the Rawhide.
Matt Duffy had two doubles for the Giants, and Jeff Arnold had two RBIs.
Adalberto Mejia gave up four runs in five innings to take the loss. Chris Marlowe was tagged for three runs in the sixth. Jose Casilla finished with two perfect innings of relief.
