A day before the host of the 2020 Summer Olympics is selected, Madrid, Tokyo and Istanbul made their closing arguments to IOC voters Friday in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
IOC members will vote Saturday until one city receives a simple majority. The city receiving the fewest votes is eliminated after each round.
Also, wrestling, squash and a combined baseball-softball bid are competing to be included in 2020 games. The vote is Sunday.
Jeff Gordon turned a track-record qualifying lap of 130.599 mph at Richmond International Raceway to win his 73rd NASCAR Sprint Cup pole -- and his first this season. His lap pushed Kurt Busch (130.334) to the outside of the front row for Saturday's race at the 0.75-mile oval. Defending Cup champion Brad Keselowski qualified third, then won the Nationwide Series race.

Greg Owen shot a 6-under 66 to take a one-shot lead in the Chiquita Classic, the second tournament in the four-event Web.com Tour Finals series. He had an 8-under 136 total at River Run (N.C.).
