NEWARK -- Tyler Offill threw two touchdown passes in the first half and the visiting Matadors (3-1) completely stifled the Cougars offense, limiting the host team to just 47 yards.
Offill threw scoring passes of 15 yards to Casey Soltis and 54 yards to Javonn Williams as Granada opened up a 35-0 halftime lead against Newark Memorial (2-2).
After Offill threw the TD pass to Soltis with 9:21 left in the first quarter, Colton Paynter blocked a punt, scooped it up and ran 47 yards to put the Matadors up 14-0 with 6:02 left in the first period.
Granada stretched the lead to 21-0 when Jason Silva ran 22 yards for a score with 1:16 left in the quarter.
The Cougars went three-and-out on their next possession, but Williams returned the punt 51 yards for another score on the second play of the second quarter. Williams scored again with 3:26 left in the half, this time on a 54-yarder from Offill.
Granada took the second-half kickoff and drove 63 yards on eight plays. Soltis scored on a 5-yard run with 8:14 remaining in the third quarter. The fourth quarter was played with a running clock.
Newark Memorial's best drive came in the fourth quarter when it got to the Grenada 29 with 10:42 left in the game, but a fourth-down pass attempt fell incomplete.
