San Jose State cornerback Bené Benwikere was released from the hospital late Friday after being diagnosed with a concussion.
He was taken by a stretcher from the field in the third quarter of Friday's 40-12 loss to Utah State. He collided with teammate Christian Tago on a tackle, his helmet popped off and he spent several minutes laying motionless on the ground.
The senior gave a slight wave of his right hand as he was carted off the field. He was taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, and all tests were negative.
Benwikere tweeted Saturday, "Hello everyone!!! Thank you for all the get well wishes, texts and most importantly prayers. Much appreciated."
The Cardinal is unbeaten in its past 13 conference openers. The four-time defending Pac-12 champion also extended its conference win streak to 43.
Verloo scored in the 57th minute. A free kick led to a shot and rebound that Verloo converted. Uhl scored in the 67th off a centering pass by Verloo.
Tom Lehman made a 20-foot birdie putt on the final hole at Pebble Beach for his second straight 5-under 67 and a one-shot lead over Russ Cochran in the Champions Tour's First Tee Open.
Lehman had a 10-under 134 total after rounds at Del Monte and Pebble Beach. Cochran also shot a 67 at Pebble Beach. He made a 60-foot birdie putt on the par-3 seventh.
Defending champion Kirk Triplett and first-round leader Bernhard Langer were at 7 under. Triplett had a 70, and Langer followed his opening 63 with a 74.
They also played Pebble Beach, site of Sunday's final round.
