El Cerrito High linebacker D.J. Calhoun gave an oral commitment to Arizona State on Sunday, tweeting, "Decommitted from USC last week, now it's #ForksUp."

Calhoun, a four-star recruit listed by Scout.com as the 11th-best outside linebacker in the country for the class of 2014, visited Arizona State last weekend with Gauchos teammate Jalen Harvey, a wide receiver. Harvey, who had committed to Cal in April, switched his commitment to the Sun Devils on Oct. 21.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Calhoun will play in the US Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 4 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Calhoun and Harvey join De La Salle running back Das Tautalatasi and Monte Vista tight end Brendan Landman as East Bay players who have committed to ASU.
