For the second straight year, Stanford has sold through its allocation of tickets to the Rose Bowl Game, according to the school's website.

Stanford season ticket holders were provided first priority to purchase Rose Bowl Game tickets, and the few remaining tickets were sold out minutes after they went on sale Tuesday to non-season ticket holders, according to

    Cal's Kevin Grimes has been named Far West Region coach of the year, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced. Grimes led the Golden Bears (14-5-2) to their third trip to the NCAA quarterfinals, where they lost Saturday to Maryland 2-1.

    Bears defenders Steve Birnbaum and Christian Dean were named to the All-Far West first team while midfielder Seth Casiple made the third team. Stanford's JJ Koval and Zach Batteer were second-team selections and freshman Jordan Morris was on the third team with Santa Clara's Carlos Montes. Cal Poly forward Mackenzie Pridham of Santa Cruz also made the first team.
