Abby Dahlkemper, UCLA soccer: Dahlkemper, a junior defender from Sacred Heart Prep, was a key contributor in UCLA's run to win the NCAA championship. The Bruins led the nation in goals allowed per game. Dahlkemper was named All-Pac-12 for the third consecutive year and is a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy, awarded annually to the nation's top soccer player.

Nici Gilday, Santa Clara basketball: Gilday, a junior guard from Presentation, leads the Broncos in scoring at 13.5 points per game. She also leads the team in minutes played, field goals made and steals.

Carlos Montes, Santa Clara soccer: Montes, a senior midfielder from James Lick, was named to the NCAA Division I all-West Region third team, the only Bronco to be so honored. Montes was second on the team with four goals, three of them game-winners.
