Spurs 104, Bobcats 100: Patty Mills scored 18 of his season-high 32 points in the fourth quarter to lead San Antonio to a win over Charlotte. The Saint Mary's College product was 10 of 13 from the field, including 5 of 5 in the fourth quarter. He also connected on 8 of 9 foul shots and had four 3-pointers.

"It's important for all of us to step up, whether you're in the backcourt or not," said Mills, who is getting more playing time for the injured Tony Parker.

Jazz 94, Heat 89: Marvin Williams scored 23 points, and rookie Trey Burke hit a jumper with 24 seconds left to lift Utah over Miami. Gordon Hayward's free throw clinched the win for the Jazz, which has beaten the Heat at home three straight times. Dwyane Wade had 19 points for the Heat, which missed its last four shots from the field.

Rockets 101, Bucks 95: Dwight Howard scored 27 points, including three crucial free throws in the closing seconds, James Harden added 22 points, and Houston held off short-handed Milwaukee. Jeremy Lin added 18 points as the Rockets won their fifth straight game.

Trail Blazers 117, Timberwolves 110: LaMarcus Aldridge scored 16 of his 26 points in the second half, and Portland held off injury-depleted Minnesota. Aldridge had six points during the Trail Blazers' game-deciding 13-1 run in the fourth quarter. The Timberwolves were without All-Star Kevin Love (bruised quadriceps), Nikola Pekovic (ankle) and Kevin Martin (broken left thumb).

Grizzlies 79, Hawks 76: Zach Randolph scored 20 points, and Memphis continued its pattern of winning on the road with strong defense. Atlanta was held to a combined 25 points in the second and third quarters.

Pistons 126, Nuggets 109: Brandon Jennings had a season-high 35 points to go with 12 assists, Josh Smith had 30 points, and Detroit breezed over Denver. Eleven players scored in double figures and Detroit had a season high in points. Denver lost Ty Lawson to a fractured rib late in the first half.
