Former USF star point guard Cody Doolin will transfer to UNLV to play his final season, CBS Sports reported.

Doolin, who left the USF team after four games this season, has been granted his release from the program, according to sources. He still will need a waiver from the NCAA to play his senior season with the Runnin' Rebels, but that is considered almost a formality.

Doolin is USF's No. 2 all-time assist leader and averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 assists this season in four games. He has remained a student at the school and is expected to graduate this spring.
