"He has not been ill," associate head coach Steve Wojciechowski said. "He's actually in as good of shape as can be. Obviously we weren't playing as well as we needed. Maybe the emotion got the better of him. Again, We expect a full recovery."

Travis McKie added 19 points for the Demon Deacons (16-14, 6-11 Atlantic Coast Conference), who scored 17 straight points and held Duke without a field goal for 5 crucial minutes down the stretch. It was Wake Forest's first win against Duke since 2009.

Jabari Parker scored 19 points for the Blue Devils (23-7, 12-5), who fell to 4-5 in ACC road games.

Arizona 74, Oregon State 69: Nick Johnson scored 25 points, and the No. 3 Wildcats (28-2, 15-2 Pac-12) held off the Beavers (15-14, 7-10) in Corvallis, Ore.

Kansas 82, Texas Tech 57: Tarik Black scored 19 points, and the No. 8 Jayhawks (23-7, 14-3 Big 12) routed the Red Raiders (13-17, 5-12) in Lawrence, Kan.

San Diego State 73, UNLV 64: Xavier Thames scored 19 points, and the No. 10 Aztecs (26-3, 15-2 Mountain West) closed the game on a 13-2 run to defeat the Rebels (19-11, 10-7) in Las Vegas.

Louisville 84, SMU 71: Russ Smith scored 22 of his 26 points after halftime, including six 3-pointers, as the No. 11 Cardinals (25-5, 14-3 American Athletic Conference) beat the No. 18 Mustangs (23-7, 12-5) in Dallas.

Colorado State 78, San Jose State 66: Jon Octeus scored 21 points as the Rams (16-14, 7-10 Mountain West) defeated the Spartans (7-22, 1-16) in Fort Collins, Colo.

After trailing by 14 midway through the second half, San Jose State went on an 11-1 run. Jaleel Williams fed D.J. Brown for a 3-pointer and then scored two 3s of his own. That pulled the Spartans within 60-56.

But Colorado State used a 10-0 run over the next 4 minutes to wrap up the win.

Williams led San Jose State with 19 points. Isaac Thornton added 14.

Honoring Summitt: The Women's Basketball Coaches Association national coach of the year award has been named in honor of former Tennessee coach Pat Summitt. She retired in April 2012 after winning a career-best 1,098 games and leading the Lady Vols to eight national titles and 18 Final Four appearances in 38 seasons.
