Stamkos, playing in his fourth game since missing 45 games after breaking his right shin Nov. 11, also had an assist after three pointless games.
Maple Leafs 3, Kings 2: Mason Raymond broke a tie with a short-handed goal early in the third period, and Toronto snapped Los Angeles' eight-game winning streak.
Bruins 2, Coyotes 1: Tuukka Rask made 21 saves and Boston beat Phoenix for its seventh straight win. The Bruins took over the top spot in the Eastern Conference with 93 points, one more than Pittsburgh.
Stars: Forward Rich Peverley was out of the hospital Thursday and spending time with his teammates three days after he collapsed on the bench during a game. Peverley is out for the season and soon will go to Cleveland for a procedure to fix an irregular heartbeat that was diagnosed in training camp.
