The San Jose State men's basketball team will participate in the Wooden Legacy during Thanksgiving weekend.

The ESPN family of networks will have live coverage of the eight-team tournament on Nov. 27-28 and Nov. 30. The opening two days will be at Cal State Fullerton's Titan Gym. The four games Nov. 30 will be at Anaheim's Honda Center.

"Our team is excited to be a part of the 2014 Wooden Legacy," Spartans coach Dave Wojcik said. "Year in and year out, the Wooden Legacy is one of the best tournaments in college basketball."

Other teams in the tournament will be Washington, San Diego, Long Beach State, Princeton, Western Michigan, UTEP and Xavier.

  • Chuckie Jones' RBI infield single and Elliott Blair's run-scoring single produced San Jose's lone runs in a 6-2 loss to visiting Visalia. Alex Glenn's three-run homer keyed a four-run third inning for the Rawhide. The Giants were outhit 16-7 in the first game of a four-game Cal League set at Municipal Stadium. San Jose scored once in the ninth inning but left the bases loaded.
