Shawn Marion agreed to a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, a person familiar with the negotiations said Sunday.

The four-time All-Star gives the team another veteran to complement LeBron James, who returned to Cleveland this offseason.

Marion, 36, reportedly will play for the league minimum of $1.4 million because the Cavaliers are out of salary cap space. He averaged 10.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for Dallas last season.

Cleveland had previously signed Mike Miller and James Jones, who won two NBA titles with James in Miami. The Cavaliers are also on the brink of adding Kevin Love, who is expected to come from Minnesota in a trade on or after Aug. 23.
