  • Oct. 10: vs. Washington State, 6 p.m.: Trap game that happens to fall on the same Saturday as Stanford's loss at Utah last year.

  • Oct. 18: at Arizona State, TBA: Total points in the two games last year: Stanford 80, ASU 42 (and they weren't that close). Do the Devils have an answer?

  • Oct. 25: vs. Oregon State, TBA: Teams that play like Stanford cause the most trouble for Stanford. The Beavers are on that short list.

  • Nov. 1: at Oregon, TBA: To beat the Ducks, Stanford had to get faster in the secondary. To beat Stanford, the Ducks have to get tougher on the lines.

  • Nov. 8: Bye. Regardless of the outcome of the trip to Eugene, Stanford will need this break to prep physically and emotionally for the stretch run.

  • Nov. 15: vs Utah, TBA: Blowout wins are few and far between in Pac-12 play. This is the exception for the revenge-minded Cardinal.

  • Nov. 22: at Cal, TBA: Won't be a repeat of the '13 laugher, but the Bears aren't ready to stop Stanford's Big Game winning streak.

  • Nov. 28: at UCLA, 12:30 p.m.: Stanford has won the past six, including the end-of-season sweep in 2012. But the Bruins are loaded this year.

  • Dec. 5: Pac-12 championship game (Levi's Stadium), TBA: If Stanford's involved, it could have significant home-field advantage.
