Chris Brown said he's quitting music.
Makes sense. He'll probably become a life coach.
After spending 45 minutes in jail Monday for a hit-and-run conviction, Brown tweeted Tuesday that he's probably done with music, according to USA Today.
"Don't worry, mainstream America," Brown wrote. "After this 'X' album, it'll probably be my last album.
"Being famous is amazing when it's for your music and talent," he continued. "I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I'm cool and over it!"
Thanks, America, for ruining poor Chris Brown. He's the victim here ... not the women he beats up, or bites, cheats on, or ... .
Anyway, Brown was, of course, referring to his 2009 assault on former girlfriend Rihanna, who has been his girlfriend on-and-off ever since. Although lately he's been seen with his other on-and-off again girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
Brown's new record "X" is scheduled for release Aug. 26.
