Bob Barker is returning to "The Price is Right" for his 90th birthday.

You wanted me to say he was "coming on down," didn't you?

Barker will appear on the show Dec. 12, to celebrate his big birthday. And, no, I will not make a joke about planning things so far out at that age.

"We are excited to announce that Bob Barker will Celebrate his 90th Birthday on #Price Is Right," the show's Twitter account posted on Tuesday.

In a pretaped appearance, set to actually take place on Nov. 5, Barker will return to his former stomping grounds to host a special showcase, according to TVGuide.com.

CBS said the show will honor Barker's big birthday with a week of shows (Dec. 9-13) with on-air pet adoptions, as humane animal treatment is Barker's "pet" cause.

Yeah, I went there. Sorry.

Last week, Barker spent nearly $1 million to transport three former zoo elephants from Canada to a Northern California sanctuary, according to E! News. Barker spent two years working on the move and said afterward, "I had tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. It's hard to believe they are finally here."

Barker hosted "The Price Is Right," which is the longest-running game show in TV history, for 35 years. Drew Carey replaced him when he retired in 2007.
