Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills allegedly lunged at a Paralympic official and screamed insults after she was forced to abandon her attempt to qualify for Britain's ski team for next year's games.

Maybe, if they make lunging a sport, she could qualify for that.

According to the Associated Press, Mills' hopes of competing in Sochi ended Monday when the International Paralympic Committee ruled a new prosthetic leg she was using had not been approved by the governing body.

Well, that doesn't seem fair. Just because it has a rocket attached to it ...

Her application for a place on Britain's team was withdrawn.

IPC spokesman Craig Spence said the 45-year-old Mills confronted ski committee head Sylvana Mestre at a hotel in Austria, swore at her and said, "You don't know who I am, I'm going to make your life miserable."

She seems to be pretty good at that.

Mills faces being fined by the IPC for her behavior.
