Katharine McPhee's husband may have finally forgiven her for playing public tonsil hockey with her "Smash" director Michael Morris last fall.

TMZ posted pictures Monday of McPhee and her husband Nick Cokas walking their three dogs together in L.A. A source close to McPhee reportedly told Us Weekly, "Katharine and Nick are working on their marriage."

Right. Smoke 'em if you got 'em and all that.

Trust me ... that kind of makes sense.

"American Idol" runner-up McPhee and Cokas reportedly separated for months after the publication publication of pictures of McPhee and Morris trying to give each other whopping cough in the most direct way last year while both were still married. Us Weekly reported McPhee was, nevertheless, "embarrassed" by the scandal.

Director Morris has reportedly also reconciled with his wife, actress Mary McCormack, who kicked him out of the house when the photos surfaced. The couple has been together for more than 10 years and share three kids.
