Craig Ferguson and Drew Carey have swapped shows for an April Fool's Day prank.

Wow, what a burn on ... someone.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, "The Late Late Show" host and "The Price Is Right" emcee traded roles Tuesday. Ferguson surprised Carey's usual audience during a Feb. 10 taping of "The Price Is Right," while Carey took over Ferguson's desk during a March 21 taping of "The Late Late Show." Both shows are on CBS.

E! News said Carey told Ferguson, "You've just got to show up in a good mood."

"That was the hardest part for me," Ferguson reportedly said after the taping. "See, Drew likes people, I'm a cranky loner. It's not so good for me. I will be in a bath of Purell for two days now."

Ferguson should work on that. According to the Reporter, he'll emcee "The Celebrity Name Game" this fall. "Maybe it's because it's new, but it feels quite taxing," he said, "more taxing than I thought it was going to be, and more than running my own show."

Blue collar America sends its sympathies.

"The Price Is Right" airs at 10 a.m. and "The Late Late Show" airs at 12:37 a.m.
