Oprah Winfrey's stepmother says Winfrey is booting her out of her house.
The good news is there may be a free car under the sofa.
Barbara Winfrey, 66, told Britain's Daily Mail her famous stepdaughter is kicking her out of the house she's shared for 14 years with Oprah's dad, Vernon Winfrey, in the wake of their divorce.
"I have lost everything," Barbara Winfrey said.
I'm telling you -- look under the sofa.
"It's not just a house, this is my home. All my memories are here. I'm trying to keep it together, but there are some days I just don't understand how I could have made her so angry that she would kick me out on the street and think nothing about it. But that's Oprah -- she's judge and jury."
Barbara Winfrey says 60-year-old Oprah is taking back the Nashville home she bought for her father and stepmom in 2000 just because she can.
"It was a new home so we got to choose every part of it," she recalled of the house, which was reportedly a wedding gift.
"We signed so many documents, became part of the Housing Association. I was thankful of course. I never knew it was Oprah's name on the deeds and that I was just on probation."
It's Oprah's world -- we just live in it. Everybody knows that.
"My husband once told me that just because someone gives you something does not mean they love you. He was talking about Oprah."
I wish Oprah would show me how much she doesn't love me by buying me a house.
Barbara Winfrey says when her marriage fell apart, her ex-husband convinced Oprah to quietly get her "out of the picture" by taking back the house.
"I know people have read about this and thought, 'Who does (Barbara) think she is? Why should she get a million dollar home?'" she said.
Barbara Winfrey said Oprah never invited her over to Oprah's California home or attempted to get to know her despite being married to her father for 14 years.
"But can you see it's not about that? It's about everything that went before. Look at how she has treated me. I laid my head next to her father for 14 years and she never thought me worthy of talking to."
