Armin van Buuren is a trance-music titan.

The Dutch producer/DJ first drew international acclaim as the host of the weekly radio show "A State of Trance," which draws millions of listeners from around the globe.

He's also taken the top spot on DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 DJs poll -- not just once, but five times.

The trance master is now set to release his fifth studio album, "Intense," and performs Thursday at SAP Center in San Jose. Show time is 7 p.m. and tickets are $39.50-$99.50, www.ticketmaster.com.
