Junior cornerbacks Steve Williams of Cal and Terrence Brown of Stanford announced they will skip their senior seasons to enter the NFL draft.
Williams started 28 games for the Bears. His 25 career pass breakups rank sixth in school history.
Williams had three interceptions this season and earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors from the league's coaches.
Brown, also an honorable mention All-Pac-12 performer, started every game and had one interception. Although not the Cardinal's most talented cornerback, he was the steadiest.

Honduras opens the final CONCACAF qualifying round for the 2014 World Cup by playing host to the United States on Feb. 6.
Honduras also is playing in a Central American qualifying tournament for the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The tournament begins Jan. 18 against El Salvador and Jan. 22 against Panama. The players will join the Earthquakes for preseason training
America's Cup organizers have canceled a spring World Series regatta in New York on smaller boats to focus on the main event -- the Louis Vuitton Cup and the America's Cup Finals -- for the big boats this summer in San Francisco Bay.
The America's Cup Event Authority pulled the plug on the New York regatta after discussions with the summer competitors, Oracle Team USA, Sweden's Artemis, Emirates Team New Zealand and Italy's Luna Rossa.
The three challengers will compete in the Louis Vuitton Cup beginning July 4. The winner will take on defender Oracle, which won the Cup in 2010 and the right to bring it home to San Francisco, in the America's Cup finals beginning Sept. 7.
Casie Cathrea of Livermore has been named Golfweek magazine's Player of the Week after her recent win in the San Diego Junior Amateur. Cathrea will play college golf at Oklahoma State. She shot a final-round 2-under 70 at Sycuan Resort on Saturday to prevail by six strokes for her third San Diego Junior Amateur title.
The SaberCats announced that they have been assigned former USC quarterback Mitch Mustain and San Mateo native Andres Vargas, an offensive lineman, on one-year contracts. Vargas started 30 games during his career at San Jose State.
