OAKLAND -- Though he's wearing a large white brace on his sprained left ankle and clearly not at full strength, Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is in the starting lineup for Game 3 at Oracle Arena.
The Warriors' star was questionable with the sprain he sustained late in Game 2. He has received around-the-clock treatment and during pregame warm-ups convinced Warriors' trainers and coaches he was ready to play.
Curry sustained the injury late in the third quarter trying to come to a sudden stop, rolling his left ankle in the process. He limped to the sidelines and was treated while the game continued. But he started the fourth quarter and finished the game, totaling 30 points and 13 assists as the Warriors won Tuesday in Denver.
Curry had the benefit of two days off to recuperate his sprained left ankle. He said if the game was Thursday he probably wouldn't have played
