PITTSBURG -- All lanes of westbound Highway 4 will be closed 10 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. overnight Thursday between Loveridge Road and Railroad Avenue and 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. overnight Friday, if necessary, according to a Contra Costa Transportation Authority news release.

Contractors widening the highway through Pittsburg and Antioch will be paving and restriping an auxiliary lane between Loveridge and Harbor, according to the transportation agency

Motorists will be detoured at Loveridge and down California Avenue, and straight onto the westbound Highway 4 on-ramp from Railroad Avenue.
