ANTIOCH -- Highway 4 motorists here may want to allow for a few extra minutes of driving time during the overnight hours this week.

All eastbound lanes of the freeway will be closed midnight to 5 a.m. overnight Thursday between the Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive and Lone Tree Way/A Street exits, according to a Contra Costa Transportation Authority news release.

All westbound lanes on that stretch will be closed 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. overnight Friday.

One eastbound lane will be closed overnight tonight from midnight to 6 a.m. between Pittsburg's Loveridge Road and Somersville/Auto Center.

One lane in both directions will also be closed between Contra Loma Boulevard/L Street and Hillcrest Avenue overnight Wednesday through Friday.

Locally, all lanes of Somersville/Auto Center will be closed under the freeway from 10 a.m. to 5 a.m. overnight Monday through Friday.

During the day, one lane in both directions of Somersville/Auto Center will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday between Century Boulevard and Delta Fair Boulevard.
