Where's the fire?
Apparently, it's not enough to have the world's first fourth-dimension thrill ride. Six Flags Magic Mountain has spent $10 million to turn X, its largest roller coaster, into X2.

Well, it's not drugs
Custom officials at Indonesia's international airport got a big surprise a week ago when they opened three boxes marked "handicrafts." Inside each they found a human skull. At least two were decorated so the "handicrafts" wasn't a complete stretch.
Slowing down in the friendly skies
It works on the highways, why not the skies, too?
Major airlines are slowing their speeds, tacking 1-3 minutes onto flight times, to save big on fuel. For the year, Southwest expects to save $42 million, and JetBlue estimates saving $13.6 million. Considering delays at airports and cancelled flights, will anyone even notice the extra few minutes in-flight?
