Free government-surplus food will be distributed to qualifying low-income residents Thursday at a number of San Joaquin County locations.

The program is open to those whose total monthly household income does not exceed the following levels: $1,354 for one person; $1,821 for two; $2,289 for three; $2,756 for four; $3,224 for five; and $3,691 for a household of six. Residents must bring proof of their address and ZIP code and a grocery bag.

Distribution will continue until supplies are exhausted.

Distribution times and locations are:

  • Escalon: 8 to 10 a.m. at C.A.R.E. Center, 1531 2nd St.

  • Lathrop: 8 to 11 a.m. at Lathrop Senior Center, 15557 E 5th St.

  • Lockeford: 9 a.m. to noon at Adventist Community Service, 19859 Elliot Road.

  • Lodi: 8:30 a.m. to noon at Lodi Community Center Grape Festival Grounds, 413 Lockeford St.

  • Manteca: 7 to 9 a.m. at Manteca Library, 320 W. Center St.

  • Ripon: 7 to 9 a.m. at Ripon Community Center, 312 W. 4th St.

  • Thornton: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at New Hope School, 26675 N. Sacramento Blvd.

  • Tracy: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Larch Clover Community Center, 11157 West Larch Road.

  • Woodbridge: 10 a.m. to noon at First Missionary Baptist Church, 673
