Warriors second-year forward Harrison Barnes has been selected for the Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star Weekend in New Orleans.

The Rising Stars Challenge, featuring teams made up of rookies and sophomores, will be played Friday, Feb. 14, and will be televised by TNT at 6 p.m.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, the 2012-13 NBA Rookie of the Year, and New Orleans Pelicans forward-center Anthony Davis lead the nine sophomores selected for the game. They will be joined by Bradley Beal (Washington), Andre Drummond (Detroit), Terrence Jones (Houston), Jared Sullinger (Boston), Jonas Valanciunas (Toronto) and Dion Waiters (Cleveland).

The nine rookies are Michael Carter-Williams (Philadelphia), Steven Adams (Oklahoma City) Pero Antic (Atlanta) , Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee), Trey Burke (Utah), Tim Hardaway Jr. (New York), Victor Oladipo (Orlando), Kelly Olynyk (Boston) and Mason Plumlee (Brooklyn).

The 18 players will be drafted onto teams by general managers who will be announced at a later date. Once the rosters are set, fans can vote online beginning Feb. 6 to select the starting lineups.
