Warriors newcomer Shaun Livingston is expected to be sidelined for at least six-to-eight weeks after having arthroscopic surgery on his right big toe, putting his start to training camp.
Livingston, who signed a free-agent contract with the Warriors on July 11, had debris cleaned out of the toe during the operation performed earlier this week at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys. The Warriors begin the regular season on Oct. 29 against the Kings in Sacramento.
Livingston, 28, will be in a splint for about three weeks, according to the Warriors. Team officials were aware that Livingston had a toe injury when he signed, a Warriors press release said.
