OAKLAND The Golden State Warriors have waived guard Will Bynum, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Mullin announced today.

Bynum, who originally signed a 10-day contract as a free agent call-up from the Roanoke Dazzle of the NBA Developmental League on March 17, 2006, appeared in 15 games with the Warriors in 2005-06, averaging 3.6 points and 1.3 assists in 10.8 minutes per contest. Bynum was signed to a second 10-day contract on March 27 and subsequently signed for the remainder of the season on April 6.
